General Description:

Baked Beans is a classroom business created, and run, by the students and peer tutors in Mrs. Chaundra's class. We decided on a business that centered around some of our favorites:  baking, coffee, and fun!

More Info: Students are learning real-world job skills as it pertains to running a coffee/baking business. Skills learned/used: creating a logo, measuring ingredients to bake cakes, cupcakes, and make buttercream, learning piping techniques, placing logo stickers or stamps on cups, deciding our menu options, making copies, making coffee drinks, delivery skills, money skills, customer service, etc.

HOW CAN I BE A PART OF THIS FUN??

Peer tutors are a crucial part of our team! They work alongside our students to model skills and assist with all aspects of our business and classroom tasks. The bonus - the friendships you will gain from the best students in the world! Students can apply to be a peer tutor during their junior and/or senior year.
